Big Beaver Ice & Coffee Co. is a family-owned ice and coffee company founded in 2009 in Oldcastle, Ontario. What started as a local Windsor-Essex ice maker has grown into a regional service company: 1,500 tonnes of ice produced annually, 20+ self-serve Ice Lodge locations, a small-batch coffee roastery, and office coffee routes running across Southwestern Ontario.
Our Story: From Oldcastle to All of Windsor-Essex
Big Beaver was founded with a straightforward idea: make quality ice locally and stand behind every bag. From our home base in Oldcastle, the company grew bag by bag first across Windsor-Essex to Chatham-Kent.
Roasting coffee came later, but with the same philosophy: make it ourselves, make it fresh, and deliver it with service people remember. Today the ice and coffee sides of the business share one team, and one standard.
